*Wow kudos to me for that awesome pun.* What's the deal with leopard print?
All I know is. I was six years old dragging my feet around academy sports + outdoors. My parents weren't shopping for me so I wasn't having a good time, obviously. (It's academy after all) but then I spotted this leopard printed faux fur coat. I remember putting on that coat, checking the price tag for 59.99 and feeling like the suavest little girl in the whole store. I was a full grown woman with my leopard coat. I was Cher from clueless with my leopard coat. I was-- not getting that leopard coat for six weeks plus whatever I had in my piggy bank to cover the tax. I've always had a thing for this print (apart from its MTV jersey shore abuse) I was 9 years old going to my friends house and admiring the fact that her stair case was a leopard printed carpet strip in the middle of hard wood steps. Not only this-- but her couch was also an antique leopard printed silk with leopard printed pillows on mismatched chairs. I remember going home and telling my mom how cool her parents were for putting such a rad pattern on the whole house. Their home was dripping in unique. Since spotting her involvement of the pattern throughout her house, I've somehow associated leopard print with my dream home. #goals and all of that. This pattern has been deeply rooted in my heart and wonderfully enough my mother blessed my wardrobe a second time with this Zara faux fur coat. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME!!!! Catch me petting myself in public places in colder weather for years to come.
